The concept of this project is about combining music with massage therapy, making the music relevant to our physical body as well as putting a emphasize on our awareness of sensations. In this context, a new crossover job of DJ- Masseuse were created like those cross over industry of chess-boxing, etc.
A DJ- Masseuse is someone who treats a client with body pain or mental depression through a interactive music composing and performing process with the involvement of physical movement . The material of the instrument is the human body itself. And the boundary between the performer and audience is erased as well. Then, the music not only serves a function of indicating the different touchment but also acting as the mediator between the physical and mental.
DJ MASSEUSW Behaviroul guideline:
1. DJ-Masseuse would play a sequence of music coming from different element such as violin, piano, bass, etc (or also different tempo) to the subject.
2. A device connected with the subject would help him to detect and grasp the right element from the subject's body
3. Identical sample would generated from DJ- masseuse's music library as the raw material for the body music.
4. when the massage therapy is being carried out, the sound played between the subject and the DJ- masseuse would be interactable and enjoyable for the subject, cuz the sound comes from the subject's body would be those belong to his body.
